The Helsinki Cup is one of the world’s largest junior football tournaments. Established in 1976, the tournament has grown from strength to strength with 2018 achieving some amazing numbers. This year, there was 22,000 participants from over 1300 teams from 19 countries. In addition to the matches, there was also Monday’s opening ceremony, The Helsinki Cup Summer Party at the Allas Sea Pool, and the closing ceremony party. This provides teams with a great opportunity to meet and mingle with players from around the world.
Helsinki Cup will be played from 8th to 13th July 2019. Registration for teams will open on September 9th 2018.
The Donosti Cup is held annually in the stunning, Spanish Coastal town of San Sebastian. Since the Donosti Cup started in 1992, teams from 63 countries across five continents have participated in the tournament. The tournament is also held at the beginning of July.
For teams looking for an end of season tour or development tour, The October holidays offers an excellent opportunity to participate in the Copa Sant Vinceç. The tournament is held in coastal cities just outside Barcelona with teams based in Santa Susanna.
